When Jet, Sydney, and Sean have a hard time trying to explain the phases of the Moon to Mindy, Jet’s parents, Celery and Carrot, offer to fly them out to space so they can see how the Moon changes shape depending on perspective.

- When Carrot orders a pizza, he is told that it will be delivered in 30 minutes or he will get a refund. In real life, the pizza chain Domino's once had a policy that stated that if a pizza wasn't delivered in 30 minutes or less, it would be free for the customer.
