Souped-Up Saucer is the first half of the actual first episode of the second season of Ready Jet Go!.

Synopsis

Celery has souped-up the family saucer, adding new features for the kids to use, including a robot arm. They test drive it with a trip to the Moon.

Starting with this episode, the wagon/saucer has brand new features:
- Horns for Jet.
- Robotic arms.
- A co-pilot seat for Sydney.
- A mini-on-board lab for Sean, a reference to Star Trek.
- A bowl of soup for Sunspot.
This is the first 11-minute episode where Sydney is voiced by Vienna Leacock.
This episode premiered in Ireland before premiering in the United States.
This episode is considered by PBS to be the first episode of season 2, and not Back to Bortron 7.
- Although, Mindy Turns Five was advertised as the premiere for season 2.
In the previous 11-minute episode, which was Commander Mom, Jet 2 was rebuilt to Jet 3. However, in this episode he is back to Jet 2, creating a continuity error.
Starting with this episode, Sydney is now the co-pilot of the saucer.
The robotic hand on the saucer is a reference to the Mobile Servicing System (also known as Canadarm2) on board the International Space Station.
