Sydney 2 is the second half of the third episode of the second season of Ready Jet Go!.
Synopsis[]
Sydney decides that Jet’s robot, Jet 2, is lonely. She decides to design and build a robot companion for him and names it "Sydney 2".
Plot[]
Jet runs around looking very busy. Sydney walks in, and Jet says hi to Sydney. She asks what Jet and Sean are doing. They say that they are making a Rube Goldberg machine to serve snacks while you are playing. Everything goes well until the last part where the doughnut is eaten by Sunspot. Jet becomes disappointed.
In the garage, Sean tries to cheer Jet up. Sydney asks Jet about the other machine he built to do things for him. Jet and Sean are clueless. Sydney points towards Jet 2. Jet says that Jet 2 is okay. Sydney asks why Jet 2 isn't playing with them. Sean insists that they are not playing; they're solving problems, and Jet says that robots wouldn't know anything about solving problems. Sydney points out that robots are made to help solve problems, and Sean agrees with her. Sydney tells Jet that Jet 2 is wonderful, and yet he's just standing around, doing nothing. Jet explains that Jet 2 may look cool, but he does not perform any useful functions and has a limited vocabulary. Sydney turns on Jet 2 and greets him, but he crashes into the wall while saying "Hello, Yes, Play" repeatedly. Sydney asks Jet 2 to play, but he doesn't respond properly. Sydney gets Jet's point.
Sydney feels sorry for Jet 2 because he doesn't have a lot to say, and seems very lonely. Jet doesn't understand why she thinks Jet 2 is lonely. Sydney explains that Jet 2 stands around all day with no one to talk to.
